Fine black glass line work and blues form the Australian blue wren. Patterns of purple powder between the top layer of semi-opaque white and transparent yellow create this fused glass bowl. Fired once to fuse together, edge ground and then re-fired into a bowl mold to complete the finished shape. 7 1/8" x 2" .8 lbs.

My contemporary nature inspired artworks are created with multiple layers of fused glass which are kiln fired for a textural surface.
The design’s edges flow beyond rigid straight lines with elements moving into the wall space.
The use of powdered glass and voids add depth and drama.
Some compositions can have more than one panel and variations of depth raising the design from 1/2" to 3" from the wall's surface.

For I am very interested in your butterfly pendants and would like to talk with you about making one or more. I am interested in the smaller size (2 1/4" x 1") I like the lighter blues and purples as background with the dichroic and black wing line details. The butterfly pendant Michelle made for me is lovely!! She was delightful to work with - professional, communicative, very willing to explain the details of her work and to work with me to create just the right piece. I would definitely order more of her work in the future.
