Wine Bottle Box - Redwood/Maple - Hand Carved
Built to hold 11 bottles of wine, this hand-carved box is made of reclaimed old-growth Redwood and Maple. Each Maple carrier lifts out to give access to the wine. It was created for auction at Winesong; an event to support our local hospital and was filled with wine from Coro Mendocino a group of local winemakers.

A third generation woodworker, I am carrying on the tradition of my grandfather, Charles M. Sayers author of the "The Book of Woodcarving". All carving is executed using traditional carving chisels.
My work includes a wide variety of furniture and architectural pieces as well as carved redwood outdoor furniture and other pieces for the garden.
