The Harvest Pulpit
Yoder CD specializes in building the finest lectern/podium for Churches, Libraries and Universities. Our shop is located in Valparaiso, IN, and we are a family owned business with two in-house furniture architects. We work very hard with our customers in providing the best service you can find. The name of this podium is called The Harvest. We started the design of this podium in 2010 and since then we have built six of them for churches all across America. The design is from the 1920's with its simple curves and industrial quality. The height is specifically engineered for a person to stand comfortably behind for long periods of time. We also use the finest quarter sawn red oak from the north west. The stain color is a light golden brown oak and the finish is a high quality lacquer to ensure years of beauty.

Yoder Custom Design
We are Yoder Custom Design- located in Valparaiso, Indiana.
We are a second generation family-owned wood shop that has been building and designing heirloom furniture for over 40 years. George, our patriarch, started building furniture in a shop that he built at age 13 and has been mastering the craft ever since. Along the way, teaching all five of his sons the importance of hard work and the art of woodworking.
We specialize in making fine heirloom quality furniture, as well as, modern and euro style kitchens and cabinetry for residential and commercial applications.
We understand that every customer needs a great product along with excellent service. We have worked with a lot of different people including the Historical Society in replicating Gothic style doors. Thank you for your interest and we look forward working with you.

Apr 18, 2012George was incredible to work with through the entire process. We were looking for a custom design dining room table and chairs and they truly came through! The end cost was about 50% over our initial budget but that was only because we had no idea what to truly budget for the project. The money spent was worth every penny and my wife and I would enthusiastically endorse Yoder to anyone looking for exceptional quality. 3 of his 5 boys even delivered to our doorstep driving 20 hours straight from Indiana to Montana to get it to us ahead of a firm deadline we had.
