Curly And Spalted Maple Jewelry Box

This jewelry box is made from Curly Maple with Spalted Maple drawer fronts. Curly Maple has a unique striping figure, and Spalted Maple has many natural color variations and streaks. The legs have a slight curve, and the top features a cove molding detail to lighten the proportions. It has 3 drawers with Rosewood pulls. The drawers are made using a locking rabbet for strength. The top drawer has a divider with 9 spaces for storing smaller items like rings and earrings. The middle drawer has a divider with 4 spaces for medium sized items, and the bottom drawer has no divider for necklaces and other large sized items. The drawer bottoms are lined with velvet for a nice soft surface.
