Mahogany, Sycamore, And Rosewood Desk/Mantel Clock
This hand-made clock features a face made from quartersawn Sycamore with a distinctive fleck pattern. The main frame is made using Mahogany with Rosewood accents. The clock has a durable varnish finish that brings out the natural beauty of the wood, and will allow the Mahogany to age to a deep, rich reddish-brown color over time. The Rosewood banding provides a nice contrast between the Mahogany and Sycamore, and the splined miters add decoration and strength to the mitered frame.
