This is a Chippendale-style pie-crust tilt-top table (how's that for hyphens?). It's solid mahogany with a single 36" wide board for the top. The entire table is hand carved from the crust itself to the ball-and-claw feet. This table is a combination of aspects from a number of historic pieces.

I create custom furniture to meet a client's individual needs. My personal work leans toward the modern, but I am trained in antique reproductions. This enables me to reproduce, draw inspiration from existing pieces, and to design from scratch.
Eli was a fantastic individual to work with on this project. He was always in contact and updating me on the progress. I was able to to see the piece as he moved through the various stages (making formwork, basic finishing, etc etc). He shared my enthusiasm and definitely made the whole process more enjoyable while creating a great prototype that I'm very happy with.
