This is a simple footstool with four ball and claw feet. The feet were hand carved from solid mahogany. The stool is held together with mortise and tenon joinery. The seat is a traditionally upholstered slip-seat. This stool was built for an episode of Rough Cut Woodworking with Tommy Mac on WGBH. Photograph by Anthony Tieuli.

Eli was a fantastic individual to work with on this project. He was always in contact and updating me on the progress. I was able to to see the piece as he moved through the various stages (making formwork, basic finishing, etc etc). He shared my enthusiasm and definitely made the whole process more enjoyable while creating a great prototype that I'm very happy with.
