This corner desk was built from hard maple, the solid wood flat panels are all highly figured tiger maple. The work desk had to accommodate a series of wires leading to the phones and other equipment, for this we hand turned ebony grommets that fit snuggly in holes along the top edge of the writing surface. The desk if finished with a hand applied oil varnish.
