Handcrafted Humidor Made In The U.S. Hd-75-1

$675

Custom humidors handcrafted in the U.S. by American craftsmen. These are not imports but handmade one at a time in our studio. No silk screen or decals but each color is a different piece of wood both exotic and domestic. The process is called marquetry or wood inlay and has been around for thousands of years. It takes a lot of skill and gives each humidor added value over others. We work with you to design a humidor that is unique to you or the person who will receive it. We can work with a theme, a logo, a message, just about anything you can imagine. Anyone can simply engrave but we do so much more. We will provide you with examples of different woods to choose from, accessories and more. Once we have finalized the design we will provide you with a visual representation of what the humidor will look like before we build it. At this point changes can be made. Once approved the construction begins. Our humidor item numbers are designated with a quantity count so if it is a HD-24, that means it will hold 24 Churchill sized cigars, approx 3/4" x 7". The two digits indicate the number the humidor will hold We offer a 12, 24, 50, 75, 100, 120 and 150 count humidors. QUALITY TAKES TIME: Because each humidor is handmade from scratch, it takes time. Average production can take 4 to 6 weeks from the date of art approval, but depending on size and amount of inlay required. it can take longer. For customers needing something quickly, we offer a presentation letter that can be presented for that special occasion. It will have a visual representation of what the humidor will look like along with a statement saying that a quality humidor has been commissioned specifically for the recipient but quality takes time and their special gift will arrive soon. See the example in our photos. Humidity: One of the hardest elements on wood is humidity. It can cause it to warp or split and what is a humidor but a wood box with a high humidity level, generally 84% when seasoned and then maintained at 69 to 75% afterwards. While Spanish cedar is an excellent and the preferred wood for use as a humidor because of its stability, it is not perfect. Even Spanish cedar can warp or split in high humidity. Generally the wood is kiln dried to about 4 to 10% so when you raise the moisture level inside to 84% to season your humidor, there is the possibility that it can warp. While it generally does not occur, it is a possibility. Unfortunately it is not something that can be predicted when the humidor is being made and will generally occur when the humidor is being seasoned or within a short period afterward. Should you encounter either of these conditions when seasoning your humidor, please let us know about it as soon as you can. We will replace your humidor at no cost to you. Whether a humidor will warp is not something we can predict when we build and ship your unit and we have only experienced it in about 1 out of every 250 humidors we make. We test the moisture levels when we receive our wood and even when it tests out within the proper range, that does not guarantee it won't warp when the humidity inside the humidor is raised to 84%. Pricing: We are by no means the least expensive humidor on the market. We make a quality humidor that is uniquely made for you or the person receiving it and that takes time and we stand behind our product. Each humidor is made to order with the decoration and options the customer wants. We make sure the construction is right, as well as the finish for years of use. Your humidor is an investment, we realize that and we want you to enjoy it to the fullest, so if you have any issues, please let us know right away and we will make sure it is corrected. FREE POSTAGE: is within the U.S. only and some APO addresses. We do ship overseas but please contact us for rates. ALL PURCHASES OVER $75.00 WILL REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FROM THE CARRIER. SPECIAL NOTE: The humidor shown is a representation of our work and the price reflects this particular humidor and what it sold for. Each humidor is different and is priced accordingly. Please contact us so we can work with you to give you a firm quote.

We are a small shop but big on service and quality. We tackle big jobs or small and our specialty is marquetry or inlay.
Located in Tulsa, Ok we are centrally located to provide our customers with great service and delivery.
We like a challenge, so we ask you to challenge us. We work with over 50 different species of wood in both lumber and veneers. We also work with metal and glass so we are very versitile . We have recently added a cnc router to our equipment roster and we also have a Epilog laser for marking and cutting.
I have been in the woodworking business for over 20 years and I have produce projects from a simple engagment ring box to a 60 ft x 20 ft ceiling. I have made inlaid wood medallions from 1" in diamer to 5 feet.
We will work closely with you every step of the way. We will even provide prototypes prior to production when possible.
We do our best to meet all deadlines but if it's a choice between being late and making sure the quality is there, we will go with the quality. We would rather you be upset with us because we took too long than because we sent you a poor quality item.
