Ceramic Sculpture Of Three Toucans Bright Colors
This ceramic sculpture of Three Toucans is one of the most complicated sculptures I have made. All the coloring is quite accurate to the three species and was difficult to achieve. I did some touch-ups with enamel, but it is mostly glaze (cone 5, oxidation) The beaks are hollow to achieve maximum balance. (and they are that way in nature too!) This piece is already complete and I cannot make it again. Style: rustic, fanciful, whimsical, nature Note: This item is sold but I can make a similar item

When I brought the project to her I had an idea of what I wanted, but no concept of how it could actually happen. She understood what I needed and knew how to get it done. We're really pleased with the pendants she made and she was a pleasure to work with.
