Corian Urn With Crucifix
This urn was made for Bob's cousin Sid. He and his wife Kari think it's a good idea to pre-plan for their funerals. It'll make funeral arrangements a bit less stressful for their children when the time comes. The Crucifix has been redrawn and etched into the urn. It's made to look like the one he inherited from his grandfather, that hangs on the wall in their farmhouse. Their brand is H - D so we incorporated that in the lid design along with a circle of barbed wire to represent his life as a farmer/rancher and the crown of thorns during Jesus' Crucifixion. The urn is made from Corian. Sid requested the wheat colored Corian and the wheat design on the sides. The Crucifix is on the front and back of the urn and the wheat is on the alternating sides. The base of the urn is covered with stiffened felt as is the interior. This cremation urn measures approximately 8 inches high by 7 inches wide. We sent multiple photos to be carved on the sides of the urn and we are so pleased, the carvings look just like our son. The details are beautiful. The craftsmanship is wonderful. I wanted something unique and special and not only is the urn unique and special but the experience of working with Palmer Union Design was as well.

I asked for adjustments on the final piece and she had them done without a second thought. The final product was amazing! Very beautiful and just perfect. Beautifully carved wood, stained and painted the colors of the wedding. I'm sure my friend will love it as her cake topper and a keepsake after her wedding.
