Memorial Plaque
Bob and I made my father's cremation urn when he passed away last year. My mother was taken with the beauty of the urn so we made her this plaque to keep in her home. We also made another one to place in his memorial garden at the cabin. This one we finished with the stiffened felt on the back and placed it in a plate holder so she could put it a shelf. We also put a keyhole hanger on the back so she could hang it on the wall. This was our first project using our CNC router. I redrew the crucifix that my father had given to me when his mother died and used that as the artwork. My dad had a very full life and meant a great deal to so many. He was dearly loved and still missed every day.

Nothing gets stuck or moved too easily. The color of the wood stain was exactly what I asked for. She even notified me of a slight shipping delay due to extreme weather in Montana. Sep 27, 2016The Palmer's were just wonderful to work with and my wooden sign which I had them put an old fashioned phone on and a message of "Don't forget your cell phone!", came out perfect.... We sent multiple photos to be carved on the sides of the urn and we are so pleased, the carvings look just like our son. The details are beautiful. The craftsmanship is wonderful. I wanted something unique and special and not only is the urn unique and special but the experience of working with Palmer Union Design was as well.
