This item was a custom order for a client who's brother is a Hotshot firefighter. He wanted to give him something special for his upcoming birthday. He wanted the plaque to reflect a forest fire. We cut the plaque with our CNC router and then burned it just enough to give the right effect, then sealed it and carved a keyhole hanger in the back. It's always fun to make custom items because of the individuality and special thought that goes into them from the gift giver.
