This art box was made for a client who had a particular design to fit his needs for art supply storage. This was made from cherry wood, with a leather handle and locking pulls so the drawers don't come open when transporting the box. It also has a small half shelf that lifts when the lid is open. The hinges are self-stopping so the lid stops at 90º.

    This was my first project on the CustomMade website and I can say without a doubt I couldn't have picked a better team to work on my project than Palmer Union Design. They took my idea and turned it into something so much better - and within budget! They were very nice to work with and even sent me pictures of the work in progress. The final product was a wood sign for my Grandma's "casino room" which was given to her for Christmas. If I could post a picture of how happy and excited she was to see this sign I would.     Colleen is absolutely fantastic. I gave her a very broad idea of what I wanted and she came up with a great design. My box was incredibly clean looking and solid. Nothing gets stuck or moved too easily. The color of the wood stain was exactly what I asked for. She even notified me of a slight shipping delay due to extreme weather in Montana.     I crafted a design for a cutting board and although there were flaws in my design which caused a few setbacks Bob and Colleen were patient and willing to find ways to work around the issues and I ended up with a product that was exactly what I had hoped for. I just received my board in the mail and it looks great! Colleen regularly sent updates which made me feel confident that the finished product would be just what I wanted.
