Artwork/Design Customization: If you would like artwork on your covers, please contact Kerry's Custom Leather to discuss your custom design or check out our previous work to see some of the designs we have available (more designs are added frequently). 3. Leather color: Our leather supplier supplies us with superior quality domestic 4-5 ounce (cow) leather hides that accept color exceptionally well (so that we can stain or dye the hide by request). This allows us to offer a wide range of colors, or custom colors (by request). The leather colors listed in our options are our "standard" colors. However, if you would like a color not listed below, simply contact us, as we can dye a leather hide to match most color requests.

Welcome to Kerry’s Custom Leather! My name is Kerry Phipps and I am the lead artist for Kerry’s Custom Leather. I am from a family of custom leather crafters who have been producing the finest quality, custom designed, hand tooled, and completely handmade custom leather products since the early 1950′s. Everything we create is custom designed to your exact specifications. Once we understand your order, we hand cut the leather from the hide, hand tool, hand dye, and hand sew your order, there is never a machine involved in the creation of your hand tooled leather items. Every item is handmade in the Midwest USA by our master artisans. We strive to create the perfect gift or product for you, got a significant other who is hard to buy for, how about a custom daytimer which screams it’s mine. For Custom Leather Coast Guard Chief Book4.2I am very pleased with my charge book and the final product, however for the price I do have to say that I am a little disappointed in the final product. My reasoning and the only part of the book that I am not happy with is the strap and the buckle. To me the the strap is to thin, again that is just my opinion, I was looking for a thicker strap to make it a little more masculine. Again this may very well be on me for not asking for a thicker strap, however from the website there wasn't much to go off of on what Kerry had done before or what was an option. The buckle is very cheap feeling, not thick as I figured it would be. Over all my book turned out very nice and I am pleased with the final product. Kerry did keep the deadline and delivery date as promised, even ahead of schedule if I recall correctly.
