The Low Loft bed is modern, sturdy and built low to the ground so that mom and dad can still tuck a little one in at night and reach their forehead for a goodnight kiss. At just 48" tall the Low Loft is the perfect height to reach into the top bed without having to climb up into the bed. The Low Loft bed is made with all birch wood and uses non-toxic glues and finishes to make sure that there are no harmful fumes polluting the air in your child's room. And, even though the bed is made for little ones, it can still handle the weight of an adult. The platform for the bed is very sturdy and will easily handle the 500 pound test that was performed on it. A trundle height twin mattress is recommended for both the top and bottom bunk. Dimensions: 78" L x 42" W x 48" H
