Jitterbugg
"Jitterbugg" is a fantasy table that suggest interaction between species. Grasping "Buggs" lower red lip and pulling out reveals a drawer cavity and causes it's wings to retract into the body. Made of black walnut, curly maple, birch, Tamo (japanese ash), metal, gold leaf and paint. Top is varnished for everyday use. Dimensions : 39" h. 35" w. 33" d. Since 1978 , I have designed and made furniture and functional objects , mostly made of wood , usually one-of a-kind or in very limited editions . While many of my projects posted on CustomMade have a lighthearted and whimsical flavor , I have also built many pieces in traditional styles too . I use the best materials and construction methods in every piece , then apply durable finishes to withstand everyday use . I often work with designers and directly with clients to create a unique piece to fill a particular need or space in their home or office. I love to collaborate!
