"Cartouche Deskette" is a custommade dual function piece that converts from a small side table into a personal writing desk. Sections in the lid interior hold full size stationary and the cubbyholes will accommodate business envelopes .Two middle drawers are full depth to hold pencils, pens, ect. When unfolded and extended, the writing surface is held rigidly horizontal by a folding brass bar held in the brass slot at bottom center. Made of curly cherry, curly maple and wenge with brass hardware. Dimensions : 44" h. ( open ) 33' w. 22" d.

While many of my projects posted on CustomMade have a lighthearted and whimsical flavor , I have also built many pieces in traditional styles too . I use the best materials and construction methods in every piece , then apply durable finishes to withstand everyday use . I often work with designers and directly with clients to create a unique piece to fill a particular need or space in their home or office. I love to collaborate!
