Having recently purchased a pair each of original Model 1911 and Experimental 1914 Cavalry Spurs, going with original straps was considered, but finding a matching set of upper AND lower straps provided problematic. Enter Rics Leather. Asking questions I had not even considered and working in close collaboration, resulted in stunning spur straps in both russet, for use with AR 670-1 field/garrison boots, as well as in black for the dress shoes and The Army Ball. Ric did an excellent job customizing the product to my exact specifications needed. It was a pleasure to work through Ric, and his products are certainly top notch. The spur straps I ordered were crafted out of quality material and look like they’re made to last. Despite a minor hiccup in quantity, Ric’s customer service was second to none. I highly recommend his products.

The entire process was easy and the bracelet that we had made fit all of the expectations we had. My son was thrilled and I may order one for myself. We made an inspiring message and I am excited for my son to wear it.

Very good craftmanship! Had it made with black leather outside and white/cream Pyton inlay. Looks very good! Back of the buckle also very good quality for my belt.

Richard was very helpful, detail oriented, responsive to all of my questions and the turn around time was faster than I expected. I would definitely recommend Richard and the project looks beautiful, exactly what I hoped for.

I received my project earlier than expected, which was awesome because I was under a bit of a deadline. The final product after a couple of emails back and forth turned out to be great! I would recommend using Ric's leather for your custom leather needs. He was prompt, courteous and the charge vook that I ordered looked better than I expected.
