Modern Counter Height Stool, Bar Stool, Carved Solid Wood, Sheepskin Seat, Curly Maple, Bubinga, "Tufted Crane" "Tufted Crane " Modern Wood Bar Stool With Hand Carved Curvy Legs And Sheepskin Seat The "Tufted Crane" is an elegant hand-carved barstool in a contemporary organic style. I start with the finest select hardwoods in the color and figure of your choice, cutting each part to maximize the qualities of the material. The parts are then carefully carved and assembled with reinforced mortise-and-tenon joinery. The resulting barstool is visually light and graceful, yet robust enough to last a lifetime. The "Tufted Crane" barstool is available sized to any counter height for use in kitchen or bar. It comes in a variety of wood and upholstery choices and is available with a swivel-seat option. The "Tufted Crane" barstool is pictured here in curly maple with genuine sheepskin seat and bubinga and ebony accents. This barstool is an all solid wood construction. Ships via white glove blanket-wrap delivery or curbside freight, depending on location.

Nathan’s own story is about his quest to combine his musical training with his sensibilities as a visual artist creating functional art furniture. Raised in a family of artists, Nathan Hunter spent his childhood and college career studying music along with the visual arts. Now he works to bring that musical lyicism and balance into his designs. He works in Bloomington, Indiana, shipping pieces to homes from coast to coast.

For Storage Bed and Nightstands - Miller5.0I had a chest of drawers and dresser that I had purchased in Japan about 20 years ago and had always wanted matching night stands and storage bed with head and footboards. I gave Nathan some dimensions, a few pictures of the type of pieces I wanted and a sample of the Japanese furniture. I knew nothing about the wood or stain or finish used on the Japanese items but Nathan and his team got it perfect!! Even the way the wood was cut for the new pieces matched the grain patterns of the chest and dresser. It is truly remarkable and looks like an all original set. All through the process Nathan kept me updated and was adamant about the end result being exactly what I wanted. I was also privileged in living near Nathans shop so was able to hand deliver hardware I had picked out and was introduced to his coworkers. They're a great bunch of guys and the nicest people you could ever meet. Almost all of the furniture in my house is custom made and I have to say that this was truly the best experience in custom work I have ever had. It far exceeded my expectations!

Because of delays on our end, the doors have not been painted and installed, yet, but they look beautiful just standing against the wall!
