This table features easy-open "equalizer" slides. Just pull one side open, and the other side automatically opens to the perfect position. It's like magic! The modern pedestal table base allows for ample leg room. The tapered and angled legs also make seating much more flexible around the table's perimeter. And every edge is painstaking rounded and sanded for a silky soft feel. Our craftspeople bring over 80 years of experience to every piece we make. We use all of this expertise to exceed your expectations for quality and customer service. Your extension table is meticulously handmade in your choice of solid cherry, walnut, oak or mahogany wood (shown here in walnut). Your table gets its color from the natural beauty of the wood, not stains or dyes. And you never have to worry about spills and stains on the wood as our dining tables feature a commercial grade worry-free finish (satin) that allows easy water cleanup. This dining table is available in sizes from 38" to 54" diameter, with custom table sizes available by request. The table leaf (included) adds 22" to the table, converting it from round to oval.     I had a chest of drawers and dresser that I had purchased in Japan about 20 years ago and had always wanted matching night stands and storage bed with head and footboards. I gave Nathan some dimensions, a few pictures of the type of pieces I wanted and a sample of the Japanese furniture. I knew nothing about the wood or stain or finish used on the Japanese items but Nathan and his team got it perfect!! Even the way the wood was cut for the new pieces matched the grain patterns of the chest and dresser. It is truly remarkable and looks like an all original set.

    All through the process Nathan kept me updated and was adamant about the end result being exactly what I wanted. I was also privileged in living near Nathans shop so was able to hand deliver hardware I had picked out and was introduced to his coworkers. They're a great bunch of guys and the nicest people you could ever meet.

    Almost all of the furniture in my house is custom made and I have to say that this was truly the best experience in custom work I have ever had. It far exceeded my expectations!
