This table features easy-open "equalizer" slides. Just pull one side open, and the other side automatically expands to the perfect position for the leaf. It's like magic! Starting at a very compact 38 inches, this dining table is the ideal fit for small spaces. And when you have guests it's easy to add the leaf, turning the table into an oval with ample seating. The dining table comes with one or two solid wood leaves, depending on the table size. The modern pedestal table base allows for ample leg room. The tapered and angled legs also make seating much more flexible around the table's perimeter. And every edge is painstaking rounded and sanded for a silky soft feel. For Storage Bed and Nightstands - Miller5.0I had a chest of drawers and dresser that I had purchased in Japan about 20 years ago and had always wanted matching night stands and storage bed with head and footboards. I gave Nathan some dimensions, a few pictures of the type of pieces I wanted and a sample of the Japanese furniture. I knew nothing about the wood or stain or finish used on the Japanese items but Nathan and his team got it perfect!! Even the way the wood was cut for the new pieces matched the grain patterns of the chest and dresser. It is truly remarkable and looks like an all original set. All through the process Nathan kept me updated and was adamant about the end result being exactly what I wanted. I was also privileged in living near Nathans shop so was able to hand deliver hardware I had picked out and was introduced to his coworkers. They're a great bunch of guys and the nicest people you could ever meet. Almost all of the furniture in my house is custom made and I have to say that this was truly the best experience in custom work I have ever had. It far exceeded my expectations!
