I am an independent artist/artisan working exclusively in reclaimed, recycled, upcycled and found materials.
i make the useless useful again. i make worthless things priceless.
from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.
my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.
i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).
listed on this page are some pieces i've made for others and some pieces i have available for sale. but what i really want to do is design and make what YOU want. let's do it!
be good,

For CustomMade Business Card CaseI had a blast working with Tim. I had a really simple idea and through his passion for creation he took it to the next level without a hitch. Great guy to work with if you ever need a little inspiration on a project!

For Reclaimed Barn Wood Storage ChestI can't say enough how impressed I was with Tim and his constant communication to ensure the wooden chest he made for me was exactly what I wanted. I was so unsure of what wood I wanted so he sent me pics of different choices and finally we found a winner! My wooden storage chest has a proud place in our 1892 farmhouse.
Great workmanship…great guy! Thanks Tim!

For Reclaimed wood counter height table Length 76 inches, Width 38 inches and Height 36 inchesWe love our Tim Sway table. It's the Reclaimed Barn Beam Dining Table and Tim did an amazing job of creating a table that's beautiful, functional and made our vision come to life. We knew that we wanted a tall island/dining table for our newly renovated New England kitchen. And we wanted reclaimed wood with some history. Tim was very helpful with ideas and direction, both with functional concerns (build/usage) and also creative options (wood/metal). He found some nice local heavy barn wood. The final piece was created with frequent consultation and he was always quick to return emails and send photos during the process. We even visited during its build. Honestly, it's better than we ever imagined. It's a delight to eat at this table, use it for food prep, and just hang around. And it's so strong you could park a truck on it! The table is the centerpiece of our kitchen upgrade. It was a pleasure working with Tim. He's talented, attentive … and is a really nice guy.
