I am an independent artist/artisan working exclusively in reclaimed, recycled, upcycled and found materials.

i make the useless useful again. i make worthless things priceless.

from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.

my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.

i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).

listed on this page are some pieces i've made for others and some pieces i have available for sale. but what i really want to do is design and make what YOU want. let's do it!

    I love my table, it's exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful, unique, sturdy, and tells a story. Tim was a pleasure to work with. Communication was quick and pleasant, and the entire project was finished ahead of schedule with zero problems. Since he had to ship it across the country, he built it in such a way to ship it most economically, which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Tim Sway Perspectives, and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again in the future.

    Tim was such a great person to work with on this project. I had an idea to create a custom Scotch Cabinet for my Husband's wedding gift and Tim brought this idea to life. He listened to my ideas and was able to create exactly what I envisioned. He communicated with me on a daily basis by sending e-mails with questions, suggestions and even pictures of the steps he was taking. He very is talented on many levels, not only was he able to bring my idea to life, but he was able to capture the style I envisioned.     We asked Tim to design a bar cart for us and he did a fantastic job. We gave him a budget and he came up with a great design for our cart. This included a sweet set of wheels made from old water valves. Tim was very responsive and helpful throughout the process, and if we need something else made we will be going back to Tim.
