Free shipping To be honest, I have no idea what these giant hunks of metal were designed to do, but I have a whole bunch of them and they look great on a wall, so why not hang your hat on one? I pair these cast iron parts with a piece of reclaimed wood (which may vary a little from pic) and coat wood and metal with a water-based polyurethane to protect it - and your clothes. to mount: find a wall stud, pick a couple holes in the wood and drive included screws right through the front of it!

i make the useless useful again. i make worthless things priceless.
from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.
my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.
i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).
listed on this page are some pieces i've made for others and some pieces i have available for sale. but what i really want to do is design and make what YOU want. let's do it!
be good,
tim

Andrew Pellenberg
For Andrew's DeskTim made me a desk that fit into my bay window space exactly how I envisioned. He was quick, communicative, and precise. He is a top quality craftsman who can be relied on.
Lauren
For A bar/pub height high chair for a toddlerTim was great. He made a high chair for my daughter that is perfect for our kitchen counter/bar and also functions as a step-stool (which we also need). He kept us informed about the process and took our feedback into account. It is evident that he thought about the design quite a bit and put a lot of time and effort into construction. I would highly recommend his work.
