from conception, to making it to sweeping up, i am a one-man operation - by design.
my work is not for everyone. my customers are people who want truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are made fairly and ethically from locally salvaged materials - with as small a footprint as i can muster.
i will make and ship things all over the united states (depending on size) but i prefer to work regionally (Boston to NYC and thereabouts).

For Pinball Machine Converted Into Home Office Desk5.0I had a pinball machine re-purposed as a desk by Tim Sway. My experience was nothing but positive. He has outstanding analytical skills in terms of problem solving, and he is willing to try a few different options until he finds the best solution, which was important for my project as I wanted a two-sided desk.
Tim has amazing carpentry skills, and is also a talented artist, needing to match up the paint and have a cohesive design between the original and the new artwork on the sides of the machine/desk.
Even after the desk was completed, on time, Tim went out of his to make sure I was comfortable with the shipping arrangements due to my own previous shipping issues, even though it wasn’t Tim’s cheapest shipping option.
My friend is considering having a desk made by Tim because of my great experience working with him.
