My name is James Perkins.
I am a Designer, Sculptor and Artist. I create unique indoor and outdoor metal sculpture, commercial sculpture, architectural metal sculpture, metal wall art, hand forged chandeliers, metal furnishings, functional art, metal furniture and metal decor for your home, business, galleries, house of worship, public art domains and professional settings.
I offer a one of a kind craftsmanship in American Metal Art and Metal Sculpture incorporating skills from traditional to contemporary metal crafting arts. I seek projects that will stimulate creativity to develop heirloom art work and decor.
Unlike others, I create and manufacture all projects myself. This is to ensure firm communication and the up most quality at every step involved creating truly authentic art. I work with Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Ornamental Iron, Inconel, Steel, Structural Steel, Stainless Steels, Titanium and Zinc. I keep my clients involved and informed during every stage of our commissioned build.
My focus is on creating one of a kind pieces and seek clients wishing the same.

We asked for seamless joints with no screws showing, and James came up with a brilliant and beautiful idea to wrap pounded copper bands around the joint areas. Nov 5, 2012James was great to work with and very articulate. from conception to end he was extremely attentive. we needed a shelf unit for our penthouse condo in downtown cleveland for a very small and difficult area in our entryway. we saw this shelf on his website and immediately knew this was what we were looking for. he worked with us on size and color and kept us up to date every step of the way with progress photos. The shipping crate was above standard and delivered in excellent condition. we will not hesitate to use Artisan Metal Design for future projects!

James was patient with us when we made changes, and he stayed in contact with us during the entire project. He sent us several pictures of his progress. We were also impressed with the special shipping crate he made for our large wall map and template. He even included some extra things to help us mount and clean our map. We enjoyed working with him, and highly recommend him for metal projects.
