I highly recommend James. The chandelier is absolutely beautiful and even exceeded my lofty expectations. He kept me informed along the way with pictures and text updates. His workmanship is incredible and he spend quite a bit of time ensuring that this chandelier was exactly what we wanted (color, shape, size, materials, etc.). And the cost of this custom piece was a fraction of what it would have cost for a mass produced chandelier.

I Thought the communication was good , but I guess it was not ! The original Gate that I wanted 6ft Cooper Tree Gate was going to be to expensive for me, so James and I decided and agreed on an Insert for a gate I was going to make. My original message of what I wanted and the PICTURE of what I wanted had a Tree with lots of twisted branches and knots, less body to it ! But the Insert I received from James did not have that. He had sent me pictures of the sketches before cutting out and I told him, It has to much trunk not enough branches and twists to it. Then he redid his sketches, the next was better but still no twists and knots but agreed on it. The delivery date was a week or two later then original date when first submitted. He did put the Insert into a very nice shipping box. When I opened the box it looked like the picture he had sent to me but thought it would look the same on the back as well .. (because in was an INSERT) I was under the impression it would look the same but it had an unfinished look to it. James was very good about calling and asking how it was, when I told him what I thought I it was going to look like, he said send it back and he could fix it. Well I would have done that if it would not have been so late by the time I received it. I just told him I could make it work. I my self do not think I got my moneys worth and did not get what I wanted. But it is Unique and One of a Kind Custom Made! James has stayed in contact with me and tried to be very helpful when I was trying to find the kind of wood I want for the Insert and Gate. He has contacted me several times to check on the progress of the Gate. But the weather has turned bad and finishing of the Gate has been difficult. Over All I really liked James and his work but do not think I got what I really wanted! Wish I could send you a picture of what I wanted and what I got . But like I said it is Unique and One of a Kind Custom Made. and I do like that.

James was great! He was easy to communicate with and kept us informed every step of the way. The finished product looks great and I would definitely recommend him for similar projects.

James was absolutely awesome for me on this project. we created a type of picture frame that my boss wanted me to find. couldn't find it anywhere on the internet so I gave custom made a try. I had the choice between 2 companies and flipped a coin basically since I didn't know anyone. James with Artisan was fun and easy to work with. and even though I was the cause of a long drawn out timeline, he stuck with me and I just recently started hanging the frames. they look awesome. James was not only great at the metal work but also took on my project as my full vendor. He found the acrylic I needed. and handled that 3rd vendor all from his side. which made it super easy for me. I fully recommend using him for any project. Thanks James! ttyl
