The card table is based on an original in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The original was made in Charleston SC. This piece was comissioned by a client who wanted a piece that had a strong representation to the original with the same aged look. The table was finished to look like an antique. It's constructed using period techniques with all inlay and veneer work done by hand. The top opens up onto swinging legs to make a complete round table. In storage it tucks neatly up against a wall. The finish is Shellac.

Hello, my name is Bryant White and I design, build and finish period and contemporary furniture. I am a professionally trained furniture maker taught by master craftsman Phil Lowe. While I specialize in reproduction work I am happy to build contemporary pieces as well. Each project starts with a consultation. I work with you to select a design, wood, color and finish for your hand crafted furniture. All pricing is dependent upon material, complexity and labor involved. Throughout the construction process, each piece is fit by hand to ensure the finest result. Only the best lumber is selected, resulting in a beautiful, eye-catching piece of furniture. All necessary hardware is purchased from quality manufacturers.
I also offer repair work, touch-up, french polishing, carving and inlay.
I take pride in my work. Corners are never cut and each piece of furniture is as valuable to me as it is to you. I look forward to working with you to create the next masterpiece for your home.

For Reclaimed Lumber Dining Room TableWe had an antique piece of maple which was on a throw-away base. The wood was in unobtainable widths that we wanted to restore to a nice period style table and Bryant work around what we had, maximized the use of the very beautiful wood and create a beautiful table. He came and checked on it about a month after delivery to tune the coatings.
