Allagash Side Chair--A custom design side chair made of red birch and white ash. The back spindles, owing to the fact that that there are no posts, flex and hold your back to let you fully relax. A beautiful seat is offset by the white ash hand split spindles. Very comfortable and striking.

I have been making handcrafted furniture for more than 15 years. For the first ten years or so I built mostly case pieces; that is to say dressers, clocks, tables and so forth. I still build these case pieces. About five years ago, wanting to expand my horizons, I took a class and began to build Windsor Chairs. I build then using proven methods such as a tapered leg joint and by taking advantage of moisture content differences. The rocking chairs are my latest creation. All my furniture is fully guaranteed, that is to say if you ever have a problem, give me a call and we'll sort it out. My furniture takes longer to make and costs more, but it is simply better than most other handcrafted furniture and certainly better than factory furniture.
