Shaker Linen Press
Shaker Linen Press--Based on a piece from the Shaker village in Kentucky, this piece is the perfect place to store your heirloom china. The doors are built with reproduction "seeded" glass and are true divided lite doors, meaning that that there are six individual panes of glass let into a framework and then glazed in place. The doors have a turn button to hold the doors shut. The whole piece is solid wood, cherry and maple. The single large drawer has handcut dovetails and is a great place for linens. The bottom is supported on four turned legs. Overall, a very impressive piece, perfect for the dining room.

I have been making handcrafted furniture for more than 15 years. For the first ten years or so I built mostly case pieces; that is to say dressers, clocks, tables and so forth. I still build these case pieces. About five years ago, wanting to expand my horizons, I took a class and began to build Windsor Chairs. I build then using proven methods such as a tapered leg joint and by taking advantage of moisture content differences. The rocking chairs are my latest creation. All my furniture is fully guaranteed, that is to say if you ever have a problem, give me a call and we'll sort it out. My furniture takes longer to make and costs more, but it is simply better than most other handcrafted furniture and certainly better than factory furniture.
