Vintage Wood & Metal Sign
Commissioned sign for a cabin on the lake. Cedar panels, double thick and epoxied togethher with an edge seal of brown silicone. Face of sign is lasered into the cedar and then additionally coated in sections with outdoor lacquer for added contrast and durability. For a final finish to the cedar it was treated with a transparent clear coat sealer. The final image here shows the sign after one year of use. The trim metal is aluminum and finished coated with a hard textured colored paint. All hardware is stainless.

customarx is born out of 30 plus years experience in the product design and sign business as a self employed professional. customarx is an extension of my work and craft with wood, metal and vintage sign designs. I decided to take those skills and start making custom one of a kind coffee tables, benches and vintage signs.
