Reclaimed Heart Pine Dining Table

$2,500+
4.9(9 reviews)

Client contacted me and knew exactly what he wanted. Had seen it in a store but they did not have the size he wanted. Reclaimed heart pine was used for the top, legs, and apron. Maple butterflies where added and a walnut edge around the main table body. Client already had the chairs.

Matt from Saltwater Woodworks does excellent work. It was a pleasure working with him on this project. He keeps in touch and has very good ideas to offer to enhance the overall experience and outcome. I would highly recommend him and his work to anyone interested. Matt is truely a man of his word. Thanks Matt for this wonderful addition to our dinning room. I will post pictures shortly.

We are VERY satisfied with Saltwater Woodworks and with how the project turned out. The finished product exceeded our expectations and the pricing was very reasonable (the best of all the many bids that we received). The project went very smoothly for all phases (design, construction, delivery, installation). Matt (the builder) is a really nice guy and a good communicator. He was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the project. He was very patient with us and listened carefully to understand what we wanted. I would rate his customer service as A+. Matt came to our house to introduce himself and worked with us face-to-face. We supplied a picture of the table we wanted built and specified the dimensions, the wood species, and the type of joinery. He brought stain samples and that helped us make a decision on the right stain color. During the construction phase, Matt sent us updates and pictures. It was cool to see the table being built. He is a talented craftsman and did a fantastic job with the construction. He built it exactly to our spec and designed it to allow for expansion and contraction with humidity. The cherry wood he selected has a beautiful grain and the stain and finish is PERFECT! You can tell that he really got into this project and wanted it to come out right - it shows. He delivered the table on schedule as promised. He helped install the felt feet and the soapstone table top and made sure the soapstone was set perfectly. The finished table that Matt built is beautiful and is truly a focal point and showpiece in our new kitchen. When you walk into the kitchen and see it, you say "WOW." It exceeded our expectations - WE LOVE IT!
