This quartersawn red oak entertainment center has several different features. Pocket doors in the center section, top and bottom. One of the lower doors covers four media storage drawers. Surround sound speakers are placed in the top of the cabinets covered with speaker cloth. All of the lower cabinets have adjustable shelves. Finally, what really makes this piece stand out is the stained glass in the doors, which my customer made. Recessed lighting and glass shelves help to highlight the stained glass panels.

I have 25 years of experience in the architectural door and millwork business, which continues to be my full time job. Red Barn Woodworking lets me keep creating and building projects while I"m away from work.
I like to work with domestic hardwoods and softwoods. Most of my cabinet type work has been in oak, both quartersawn and plain sawn. When taking on a new project, I prefer that the customer has ideas that they would like to see in their project.

    Love It !!! We wanted to make the desk look as if it was gotten the same time the other furniture was. Jim came to the house took measurements of existing furniture he matched it perfectly. He kept us up to date with pictures. We even went to see the project several times. We decided to put hardwood floors in and need to match the color. Jim was more than accommodating. Love It!!! My vision of my desk has finally come to life. Thank You:)
