Our unique Butcher Block Kitchen Islands features a thick top made from a colorful selection of reclaimed hardwoods and sealed with multiple coats of food-grade wood oil. Shown here with a reclaimed wormy chestnut base, large drawer, bottom shelf, hooks and towel rack, all finished with a long-wearing traditional oil urethane for easy clean-up. Pictured island is 24 inches wide, 48 inches long and 36 inches tall, though of course custom sizing, woods, and finishes are always available! Price posted is for base and top only. Drawers, towel rack and hooks not included. Just ask and we'll add them in along with custom measurements!

We took a gamble by proceeding with them without ever seeing there products in person, but it paid off. All the materials used were all reclaimed from local barns, right down to the hardware which was a welcomed surprise to us. Strong Oaks was able to execute my vision from one photograph, therefore I'd recommend them to anyone! Being local helped too! The only reason i didn't give them all A's was because we had some trouble coordinating the installation time. Otherwise, I was definitely impressed with this company.

Jul 2, 2016The whole experience is top notch and 5 star. Wonderful table and chairs. I cant even begin to describe the meticulous detail and characteristics that went in to my project. Both far exceed my expectations. We were like kids on Christmas morning when it arrived. Very well packaged too. Beautiful natural markings on the wood just add to the character. Not to mention the wood smells heavenly. Definitely a "wow" when you enter our house. If you are tossing around the idea of getting one of these tables and chairs from Mike just do it, don't wait, you won't be disappointed. Better than anything you can find in the store.

May 13, 2021We received the chairs today and they are perfect. They are very well built, very rustic, solid chairs. The packaging was great....it really protected them. We asked for some custom features: 21" high seats instead of the typical 19" high seats and a stain color to match an existing table. Both are perfect. Thank you to Strong Oaks Woodshop for customizing our dining chairs!
