Hand Built Reclaimed Wood Celtic Custom Casket
This simple yet elegant solid wood casket is hand crafted from 100 year old antique lumber reclaimed from old barns in the Shenandoah Valley. Designed to be be beautiful, functional and dignified, each casket is made individually by hand to reflect the unique personal history of your loved one, and enfold them in the warmth and richness of authentic antique wood. Our work also seeks to respect the earth we all spring from and return to, by using ecologically friendly reclaimed lumber. Pictured here is antique oak with cherry trim, done is a custom Celtic these with Celtic crosses and hand carved shamrocks. However, each casket can employ a wide variety of themes, woods and stains for customization. Currently we are only able to meet 'pre-need' situations: each casket takes about 2 weeks to complete. Dec 2, 2016The bed fits beautifully in our bedroom. It is a great piece of furniture. There are some negatives I can complain about: the surface of the bed looks stunning. Amazing reclaimed wood, yet the structure of the bed itself looks like it was put together straight from home depot. All the planks are not sanded, full of splinters. We had to wear gloves to assemble the bed. Yet, once its on a floor, and all the inside materials are hidden, the bed is gorgeous, and it`s custom size fits perfectly. There was a couple of weeks of a delay. Yet I must admit, it was worth a wait.Thank you Mike and your company. I am sleeping on a very solid and beautiful bed now.

Jun 18, 2024Very happy with the chairs we received from the Strong Oaks Woodshop. The photos do not do justice to the final product. These chairs are very sturdy and each one is unique. Great attention to detail. Communication was very good throughout the project and chairs came well packaged and undamaged. Overall expectations were exceeded. You could not find a set of mass produced chairs that come close to these in quality and uniqueness. Highly recommend!

Jun 6, 2016These chairs are sturdy and well made. A great value for solid wood dining chairs. They were exactly as described. They arrived on time and we were notified of their arrival days beforehand. They gave us a story on where the wood from the chairs came from, which was very nice. I would like some instructions for long term care of the chairs. That would be helpful. Other than that I have no suggestions. Thank you!
