Beautiful antique tulip tree trestle table hand crafted from reclaimed floor joists and beams taken from a 1901 orchard barn in the Shenandoah Valley that was slated for the burn pile. Our 'Bauernhof' trestle tables are built in the Bavarian style and are guaranteed to last for generations, a real heirloom addition to any home. Shown here at 36 inches wide by 76 inches long, but each piece is created custom at time of ordering, so just let us know what you need!. Chairs and benches are additional. Optional company board extensions are also available.

Jun 18, 2024Very happy with the chairs we received from the Strong Oaks Woodshop. The photos do not do justice to the final product. These chairs are very sturdy and each one is unique. Great attention to detail. Communication was very good throughout the project and chairs came well packaged and undamaged. Overall expectations were exceeded. You could not find a set of mass produced chairs that come close to these in quality and uniqueness. Highly recommend!

Sep 19, 2013My coffee table is not exactly what I expected, but I love it nonetheless. My issue with The Strong Oaks was the packaging for shipping. The first table arrived incredibly damaged in a box way too small for shipping, made from pieced together scraps of cardboard and absolutely no cushioning. Why Strong Oaks would spend weeks crafting an item only to package it so sloppily, is beyond me. When I contacted the maker, he blamed UPS (note: I've NEVER ever had this happen to me and actually know my UPS guy and he had no reason to tamper with a table and cause more heavy lifting for himself). Strong Oaks finally did fix the table and resend it, also packaged horribly.

Jan 29, 2016Love at first sight, this table...... and got to speak with Mike directly and heard how much he loves wood/trees/old things.....and turns them into new and incredibly cool things..... I wanted a table that would last another 100 years......when it was brought into the house I was literally speechless. Took a little while before I could even approach the thing and then all I wanted to do was sit there and put my hand on it.......I am deeply satisfied. Thank you Mike and your staff........
