This simple yet elegant solid wood casket is hand crafted from 100 year old antique lumber reclaimed from old barns in the Shenandoah Valley. Designed to be be beautiful, functional and dignified, each casket is made individually by hand to reflect the unique personal history of your loved one, and enfold them in the warmth and richness of authentic antique wood. Our work also seeks to respect the earth we all spring from and return to, by using ecologically friendly reclaimed lumber. Pictured is antique chestnut with black walnut trim, but a wide variety of woods and stains are available for customization. Currently we are only able to meet 'pre-need' situations: each casket takes about 6 weeks to complete. Price includes all shipping costs to the lower 48 states.     I am very happy with the table - it's better in finish and character than what is pictured. It's a little smaller and more odd shaped than I would have liked - or thought it would be, but the quality of the table more than makes up for that. Shipping was easy and the table arrived well wrapped and in excellent condition. I would recommend Strong Oaks Woodshop.

    Very happy with the chairs we received from the Strong Oaks Woodshop. The photos do not do justice to the final product. These chairs are very sturdy and each one is unique. Great attention to detail. Communication was very good throughout the project and chairs came well packaged and undamaged. Overall expectations were exceeded. You could not find a set of mass produced chairs that come close to these in quality and uniqueness. Highly recommend!
