We are all about making things. Collab is a design studio committed to creating work that is innovative and unique. Collab’s design approach is local, digital, and collaborative, generating contemporary design at the intersection of material, function, and process.

Albie Mitchell, the founder, works closely with clients though the development and production of three dimensional objects, site specific custom pieces and installations. All of our work is the result of extensive experience as well continuing research and experimentation with materials and fabrication techniques. Albie Mitchell is a designer who is trained in fine art and architecture with practical experience designing and making furniture, sculpture, as well as residential and commercial design and construction.

Collab's work ranges in scale from small objects, furniture, and casework, to architectural interiors. Each project is developed with a commitment to sustainability and reinvestment in our community by working closely with local artists, designers, and fabricators in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
