The Wooden Quill is pleased to present an elegant writing instrument that will easily become your everyday pen of choice. Crafted from a Cholla Cactus skeleton harvested in Arizona by a licensed harvester. The barrel is created from a blank the we refer to as "Rescued Wood". Scraps and cutoffs that would normally end up in the trash or the landfill are "rescued" by the casting process. Each skeleton is cast in an eco-friendly resin that was colored to represent turquoise. The pen style is a Sierra and the plating is Chrome and Gun Metal with classic detail in the decorative band. The pen comes with a gel rollerball blank ink cartridge. Refills are available at any office supply store. The pen is finished to a high gloss and protected by Carnauba Wax for years of service. This pen may have some minor dimples where the resin meets the wood. _______________________________________________________________________ Pen Info - Each pen is created by me on a lathe - Each pen blank was designed and created by me - Pictures are of the pen you will actually be receiving - These pens are one of a kind writing instruments with the highest quality hardware - Free shipping in the US - Uses a standard "Parker" style refill available at any stationary supply store - Money back (If you don't like the pen send it back for a full refund) _______________________________________________________________________

For Wedding Bride And Groom Toasting Flutes - Walnut StemsWedding Bride and Groom Toasting flutes for my daughter and soon-to-be son. Their wedding is in September 2013, she wanted something unique that no else would have. So when I showed her the picture, she said those were the ones for them. The whole experience from beginning to end was great. Gave them as a birthday present to her fiancee and he loved them! Pure professionalism and quality! Would recommend "The Wooden Quill, Lic" to everyone interested in what he creates…Thank you, Mike

For Wedding Bride And Groom Toasting Flutes - Walnut StemsMike was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He was able to make the toasting flutes with Koa wood at my request to match the grooms' rings & love for Koa wood. He was also able to make a cake & knife server set using the Koa wood. My friends received many compliments on the uniqueness and quality craftmanship of their flutes & server set. If I could post photos from the wedding photographer, I would! I recommend Mike and would work with him again!
