Hand turned Ambrosia Maple Confetti Oil Candles feature a Koa cap and a black definition ring separating the base and the cap. This set of three (3) contemporary style wooden candle holders creates a unique decor statement. Ambrosia Maple is the result of a North American Maple tree being invaded by the Ambrosia beetle. As the beetle burrows within the the result is a beautiful colorization of the maple itself. In the picture of the middle candle you can see where the beetle entered the tree. Each candle is finished with a natural "wood butter" created by me that consists of Florida beeswax and organic walnut oil. This creates a smooth, satin finish with a nice hand feel. The walnut oil penetrates the wood and cures to provide lasting protection. The set of three (3) are proportionally size each being approx. 3" in diameter at the base and tapering to approx. 2" at the top. Heights are approx. 6", 5" and 4". Included are three(3) refillable oil candle with long lasting wicks and a filling funnel. Each candle will burn for approximately 3-4 hrs per fill. Lamp oil can be found at most stores selling candles and on the internet.
