Eiffel, Barstool Recycled Oak Wine Barrel High Stool
Stil Novo Design's gorgeous interpretation of the classic bar stool is entirely made with recycled oak and galvanized steel hoop 'rescued' from discarded French wine barrels. Our Eiffel is a stunning high stool that can easily be integrated in any room of the house as a distinctive piece of home décor; its unique height makes it an ideal addition to living rooms, party spaces, bedrooms and entries, besides the traditional kitchen isle. Eiffel is a perfect combination of sturdiness, functionality and inimitable style. By using the natural arch of a barrel stave and the curviness of the metal band we are able to create this particularly striking profile. The outside of the legs is stained with the red wine previously held in the barrel and complemented with a rich 'cherry chocolate' finish, while the seat's top and underside of the staves is stained with a warm golden oak color. The actual barrel's galvanized steel hoop is used to esthetically enhance the piece's silhouette. Please note: the color of the seat, as well as the rest of the stool, is customizable to your likings.

For Orbits Chandelier5.0This was our first project with CustomMade and it DEFINITELY won't be our last thanks to Stil Novo Design. My wife and I bought our home in South Florida a couple years ago. It was built in '91 and was all original. We loved the house, the neighborhood, and absolutely HATED all of the finishes (which was perfect because we wanted to do a full renovation, top to bottom, our own style). After replacing the roof with custom concrete tiles, replacing all of the windows and sliding doors with impact glass, re stuccoing the entire house smooth, repainting, building a concrete planter box, demolishing and rebuilding the screen porch, and installing stacked stone, it was time to deal with lighting. I knew we were going to install warm, low voltage LED lighting in the planter and the sides of the garage and wanted to do the same type of lighting for the entrance. Our main entrance has an archway where a cheap hanging lamp once hung. We wanted something different, that nobody else would have, rather than something you would see at somebody's house and recognize from Home Depot or a West Elm catalog. We spent weeks on the iPad looking at pendant lamps and modern/contemporary chandeliers before we ended up at CustomMade. That's when we saw the Orbits Chandelier. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Once we started corresponding with the creators, we KNEW we had made the right choice. Some people worry about shopping online. They have to physically see, touch, hold something before they make a purchase. We're the opposite of that, and even bought our bedroom set and mattress from California, online, and couldn't be more pleased with that purchase either. If you do enough research and read enough reviews, you can often make better purchases than what's locally available. Camilla and Stefano are the husband and wife team that created the Orbits Chandelier, and it's nothing short of amazing. They made it to our exact specifications (diameter, rod mount rather than a chain, and extra protection for humid, salty air). Camilla kept in touch with me regularly from the moment they received the deposit to delivery, and even after the installation to make sure everything was perfect. I sent them a few before and after pics of our house and her response showed how caring and passionate she and Stefano are about their work, and their clients. She explained that they are always excited when a client sends pics so they can see their creations in their new home. The lamp is amazing, and the quality of construction and materials are top shelf. We might never have the opportunity to meet Camilla and Stefano in person because they live on the opposite corner of the country, but if we do, my wife and I will give them a big hug, because we absolutely LOVE the Orbits Chandelier and they were an absolute pleasure to work with.
