Heirloom quality boxes are a wonderful way to hold priceless family treasures; celebrate a special occasion such as a wedding or graduation; or, as in the case of this set of four boxes, celebrate a historic family reunion. This set of four boxes was created from book matched walnut tops and curly maple from a common piece of wood, celebrating the siblings common connections. The walnut top is inlaid in a traditional "line and berry" pattern in which holly is painstakingly inlaid into grooves incised into the walnut and then accented with inlaid berries of holly and red cedar. Walnut splines provide an interesting visual elemnt when the box is open as does the inside of the walnut panel which is a raised panel style as is the fragrant red cedar bottom panel. Gabon ebony accents grace the corners of the box and the hardware is all solid brass of the highest quality. The interior tray slides on inset walnut rails and is constructed of curly maple and walnut and is leather lined. The boxes are finished with many coats of shellac, hand rubbed to a beautiful soft gloss, and waxes to provide a warm and pleasant touch. This set of four boxes was custom designed and is not available for sale, however I would be delighted to work with you to create your own heirloom boxes.

For Mike's Media CabinetMy media cabinet came out exactly as I hoped it would. Throughout the process, Roger provided clear updates and presented me with easy to understand options. I look forward to working with Roger again.

For wall-mounted shelfRoger's work is excellent. I am extremely pleased with the way he took my vague idea and transformed it into a build-able design. The joinery is first-class. I recommend Strathamwood without reservation.
