Solid mahogany music stand with satinwood inlay and holly stringing in the column and spade feet. The feet are hand dovetailed into the column. The tablet features crotch mahogany surrounded by a one of a kind ebony and holly banding and satinwood border with a solid ebony beading. The tablet is supported on a hexagonal post which is fitted to the column and is adjustable in both height and angle. Ebony and brass adjustment knobs secure the position The unique holly and ebony border surrounding the crotch mahogany field on the tablet uses a repeating pattern of the first four measures of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. This music stand was awarded Best In Show, traditional work/student at The 2013 Providence Fine Furnishings Show. This music stand is an heirloom piece that will be treasured by the serious musician. Roger is a member of The Society of American Period Furniture Makers and a member of The Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers (GNHW). He is a past president of GNHW and of the steering committee. He is the chair of the board of trustees of The New Hampshire Institute of Furniture Making.

Roger is also a graduate of the furniture program at Boston's acclaimed North Bennet Street School.

StrathamWood Studios office and design studio is located in Stratham, NH and the workshop is located in the Salmon Falls Mills in Rollinsford, NH.
