A classic design in mahogany, this footstool provides beauty and comfort and its style is at home in any room. The footstool pictured is a "sampler", displaying four different leg styles, and three different carvings. You may purchase this unique sampler or choose from the leg styles shown and I will build you a custom footstool to your specifications. The "sampler" shown features the following style of legs: Slipper foot - clean and elegant. Pad foot - a classic Queen Ann design. Trifed foot - lightly carved cabriole leg with a carved shell in the knee. Ball and Claw - high style chippendale, with an acanthus leaf carving on the knee. Your custom design can incorporate your choice of leg styles, carvings, and wood selection. Upholstered in the traditional manner with webbing, horse hair, cotton, and quality materials, this foot stool is certain to be a family heirloom.

Roger is a member of The Society of American Period Furniture Makers and a member of The Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers (GNHW). He is a past president of GNHW and of the steering committee. He is the chair of the board of trustees of The New Hampshire Institute of Furniture Making.

Roger is also a graduate of the furniture program at Boston's acclaimed North Bennet Street School.

StrathamWood Studios office and design studio is located in Stratham, NH and the workshop is located in the Salmon Falls Mills in Rollinsford, NH.
