Cast Glass - Three Hearts
This sculptural piece was created to celebrate 30 years of marriage. The cast glass contains three hearts of differing colors each at a different depth. I wrote three sentences three times each at different depths: Je t'aimais toujours; Je t'aime encore; Je t'aimerai à jamais. The cast glass is composed of 11 layers of glass. Three of them have text written on them in platinum. The sides have a soft iridescent shimmer. This is a stand alone piece of sculpture that looks fabulous on a desk, a side table, or in a window. It can be viewed from all sides. Approximate dimensions: 4.25" x 4.25" x 1.25"

After meeting with us initially to better understand what we had in mind for the transom window, she prepared several artist drawings with suggested themes. Every one was a possibility that we could have been pleased with. With her talent it made it difficult to decide. We settled on one, then changed to another, and finally after incorporating elements from more than one, and with further changes and additions we finally settled on what has become a work of art in the 6' wide arched transom window above our 8' front doors. It incorporates elements of the family's heritage with a truly wonderful rondel at it's center.
