Fused Glass Dish - Chimichurri
The warm, bold colors of this platter are a feast for the eye. Areas of hand raked glass alternate with bands of solid transparent and opaque colors. The Napoleon blue with metallic flecks provides a dynamic contrast with the heat of the palette. The gentle arc (about 1" at each end) of the platter gives it a contemporary feel. The platter makes a unique wedding, housewarming or anniversary gift and is a great piece for serving or displaying. It is food safe but should be hand washed. Not for use in the microwave oven. In the beginning I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but she gave me suggestions and guided me throughout the project. I got to see how the peice looked like from the time she started, the middle, until the very end of the project. The final peice was well wrapped and neat once it had arrived to my home.
