Botanical Fused Glass Table Sculpture Featuring Handmade Glass - Hero Torch
This sculpture features my handmade glass that I create in my kiln. The piece was commissioned to celebrate the retirement of an Army Officer and the torch ginger was selected to honor her leadership and give it the feel of Hawaii where she was stationed. Among her many accomplishments, she started and led a support group for women in the military. I incorporated their motto into the design using liquid gold. The fused glass piece is 12.5" x 9" and is seated in a travertine base that is framed in mahogany. Contact me to commission a fused glass sculpture that is uniquely yours.

In the beginning I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but she gave me suggestions and guided me throughout the project. I got to see how the peice looked like from the time she started, the middle, until the very end of the project. The final peice was well wrapped and neat once it had arrived to my home. The peice was very detailed and breath taking. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking to have a customize table sculpture.
