Fused Glass Logo Table Sculpture - Teal Media
The Teal Media logo and color palette made a great fused glass table sculpture that was gifted to the head of the company. The crisp lines are achieved by hand cutting and inlaying the areas of fused glass. I used a custom mix of enamels to do the lettering. The addition of a hand raked border in aquamarine, white and emerald provided a counterpoint to the strong linear quality of the logo. The fused glass is supported by stainless steel rods that are seated in a white marble base framed in white painted wood for a contemporary look. The fused glass portion of the sculpture measures 12.5" x 10.5" with overall dimensions of 14" x 11" x 6.5".

For stained glass for transom window over front door5.0What a wonderful artist Michelle is! After meeting with us initially to better understand what we had in mind for the transom window, she prepared several artist drawings with suggested themes. Every one was a possibility that we could have been pleased with. With her talent it made it difficult to decide. We settled on one, then changed to another, and finally after incorporating elements from more than one, and with further changes and additions we finally settled on what has become a work of art in the 6' wide arched transom window above our 8' front doors. It incorporates elements of the family's heritage with a truly wonderful rondel at it's center.
