Stained Glass Bay Window with Hand Painted Inscription - Ae`O At Maunalua Bay, Sunrise
This panel is the companion piece to one done earlier for the client. The design celebrates their shared passion for bird watching, Seeing the native Ae`O at sunrise on the nearby shores of Maunalua Bay was a treat they enjoyed and wanted to commemorate. The inscription "Encore" expresses the continuation of their joy together and was hand painted and kiln fired for permanence. The two windows form the two sides of a bay window in their home. Quite the anniversary gift. Approximate dimensions: 44" x 22"

Feb 26, 2019This project was a little “off the cuff”...just an idea we had. We didn’t really know what we wanted. Our original thought was a 3-D type of metal statue but Michelle came in with a slightly different take and it was well received by our team. She described her design very well and sent hand drawings to further clarify her idea. We went with her ideas and we are very happy with the end piece. Her idea of kiln-carving part of the design was better than she described! When she was finished, she sent the statue and a personal check since she over estimated the shipping! Honestly, I think her price was TOO INEXPENSIVE for what we received. She communicated many times as the project began to develop and even checked up to make sure it was delivered. I don’t know what my next item that would need to be created is, but I would have Michelle look it over first!
